Marsupalia.com was originally created to be a database for my photography of native wildlife in Australia and has evolved to be what I hope can become a useful and far reaching reference site for native Australian animals (ranging from birds to fish to bugs!).
I moved to Australian in 2004 to live with my partner and to attend university to study the amazing diversity of animals here, especially my passion, dasyurids. While I'm still working to get into Uni (one more year until citizenship!) photography has taken the place of study as my passion.
The photos on this site are collected from sanctuaries, parks, zoos and in the wild as well as my own pets and foster animals in my care.
